Optimizing cross-cut saw OptiCut 200: Perfect entry into high-performance cross-cutting
If a push-feed saw no longer meets the customer’s capacity requirements in single-board operation and it is not possible to operate in pack cutting mode because defects must be cut out or random lengths have to be processed, the OptiCut 200 offers an entry-level option into a new class of optimizing cross-cut saws. It has the primary features of WEINIG DIMTER through-feed saws such as superior precision, advanced technical availability and, last but not least, low operating costs. Reliably high daily capacity, full optimization as standard and completely trouble-free operation are essential features of the OptiCut 200. The length measurement of the entire work piece is carried out independently of the drive and slippage before the first saw cut. This means maximum waste reduction and optimal value creation. This means that the DimterLine OptiCut quickly pays for itself.

Everything at a glance
The OptiCom operator interface is available in three sizes - 10”, 15” and 18”. Simple and intuitive operation, which does not require any special PC knowledge. The pressure-sensitive touch screen can be easily operated with gloves and is also protected against splash water and dust. With the OptiCom Pro, the advantages of the user interface come into their own. By displaying the toolboxes, the operator can display additional information or can access numerous production, machine and service functions directly. To display the work area at maximum size, the toolboxes can also be completely hidden. This enables better readability, especially from a greater distance.
Highest value in the entry-level segment
Cross-cutting is one of the most important procedures in solid wood processing, because it is at the cutting stage that the quantity of wood available for further processes in production and the quality of the final product are determined. Even in its standard version, the entry-level through-feed saw offers full optimization of the incoming material, i.e. the measurement of the entire workpiece is carried out independently of the drive and slippage before the first saw cut. The operator only marks the defects and/or different qualities, and the optimizing cross-cut saw does the rest, always focusing on a maximum yield and/or the highest material value. Finger-jointing lengths are fully integrated into the optimization and up to 8 different wood qualities can be classified.
Dynamic feed
The wide feed rollers hold the wood securely. The rollers are deeply embedded in the table, preventing tipping of short lengths and maintaining straight, precise cutting. Individually cycled pressure rollers from above create the required counter-pressure for rapid and precise positioning without correction runs the impact performance. The pressure rollers only lower after the start of the board, meaning vibration-free and low-wear operation. The strong drive unit guarantees high long-term performance.
Process reliability in standard operation
The OptiCut 200 cuts at breathtaking speed and it knows all of the cut lengths. This means consistency when subsequently sorting by length and/or quality. Particularly with order-specific production. This simplifies logistics and saves on personnel.
Secure workpiece guidance
From the marker table to sorting, the OptiCut guarantees continuous and secure workpiece guidance. For example, inside the cross-cut saw, a continuous fence ensures a clean and exact alignment and a right-angled cut of the workpieces.
Options for extension
Workpiece marking
Thanks to workpiece marking, part allocation can be significantly simplified. The marking can be adapted individually.
