With effect from 1 January 2015, Gregor Baumbusch has assumed responsibility as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) in the areas of sales and marketing on the management board at WEINIG AG as CEO since 1 January 2019. Most recently, the graduate mechanical engineer worked as Sales Director and member of senior management at a world-leading supplier of precision tools. With the experienced salesman WEINIG wishes to further expand its leading position worldwide.
Dr. Mario Kordt
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Mario Kordt has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) as of March 15, 2019. Dr. Mario Kordt is a graduate mechanical engineer in the field of production engineering. His career initially led him into science. He then held leading positions at various high-tech companies. In the Weinig Group, Dr. Mario Kordt has been responsible for Weinig Dimter, Luxscan and Raimann as Managing Director since 2015. He will retain this position for the time being.
Dr. Thomas Bach
Chairman of the Supervisory Board, President of the IOC
Performance athlete, sports official, solicitor, executive - the CV, which includes a doctorate in law and political science, fills four pages. The successful fencer and Olympic champion has held roles including Director for International Relations at Adidas, member of the advisory committee to the Federal Ministry of Economics and consultant for Siemens AG. Since 1998, he has been at the helm of the Supervisory Board at Michael Weinig AG. In addition – following numerous leading roles in the world of sport – he has been IOC President since 2013. In short: Dr. Thomas Bach combines excellent foreign language skills with a wealth of experience that could not be more valuable to the company.
