WEINIG Continues Transformation 2027 and Streamlines Management Board Structure
Dr. Georg Hanrath will step down from his position as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) by mutual agreement, effective 31.07.2026 The Supervisory Board would like to thank Dr. Hanrath for his strong commitment and his valuable contribution to the company’s technological development.
Going forward, the Management Board of Michael Weinig AG will consist of Gregor Baumbusch, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Michael Amann, Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The responsibilities previously assigned to the Technology division have been reorganized within the company.
Dr. Thomas Bach, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the WEINIG Group, commented on the decision: "This realignment ensures that WEINIG can respond more quickly and decisively to the requirements of our markets. Leaner management structures enable faster decision-making."
The adjustment of the Management Board structure is fully aligned with the company’s comprehensive transformation program, through which WEINIG is simplifying internal processes, consolidating responsibilities, and accelerating decision-making pathways. The objective is to strengthen the Group’s competitiveness sustainably and create the foundation for profitable growth as a technology and quality leader.
