Revolutionary simplicity & unlimited speed - the OptiCut 450 Quantum sets the standard. The cross-cut saw is a machine concept specially optimized for continuous high-performance operation. To live up to this reputation, the cross-cut saw already features performance-enhancing and high-quality components as standard, such as the smart VarioSpeed feed system or the intelligently controlled high-performance waste gate. Individually suspended overhead feed rollers with HighGrip rollers, specially designed for the type of wood, apply pressure to the workpiece for accurate positioning.
In high-performance operation, cutting accuracy must not be neglected. The workpieces are measured even before the first saw cut. Thanks to the installed measuring wheels, faulty measurements due to slippage or belt elongation are ruled out. An additional measuring wheel in front of the saw blade ensures maximum cutting accuracy. Another advantage is the resulting full optimization, which ensures maximum material yield.
In addition to optional software solutions to optimize your production, various mechanization solutions are available. An OptiCut is constructed according to a modular system, which means that you are also well equipped for the future. You can react quickly to changing market requirements by adding appropriate extensions. Connecting scanners, OptiCut Stackers (for automatic stacking of preferred lengths) and/or extending the system to create multiple cross-cut lines are no problem.

The HighGrip feed rollers available for the OptiCut 450 Quantum have a special coating that provides more grip on the workpieces. These not only enable the high-performance cross-cut saw to position precisely, but also allow it to run at higher acceleration and deceleration rates. There are several variants to choose from, which can be selected according to the quality of the wood.

To maximize this potential, the intelligently controlled VarioSpeed, among other things, reduces the spacing between consecutive workpieces as much as possible.
