14 Week basic course of training in theory and practice in the company's own workshop

Filing, marking, drilling, operation and familiarization with handicraft machines and basic operation of machine tools, such as lathes and cutting machines.

The theoretical training simultaneously serves as preparation for the occupational school.

Following the basic course of training, trainees are assigned to 4 week modules in each of our production departments. In the meantime, they repeatedly return to the training workshop to review everything learned previously and receive detailed instruction on machine operation.

Beginning with the middle of the 2nd year of apprenticeship, the training consists of 8 week modules in departments specializing in specific occupations.

Apprentices in mechatronics also complete a 20 week course of training outside the company at the training institute Ausbildungsverbund Metall (ABV Metall).
