The OptiCut C series: The manual cross-cut solutions for packers
The OptiCut C series, with its two under-table cross-cut saws C 50 and C 700+, leads a perfect solution for quick, intermediate cross-cutting or for lower production outputs. Both models can be equipped with roller conveyors and adjustable length stops.
To increase productivity, the saws are often supplemented with an automatic positioning system, the EasyStop. In this combination, you can choose between manual length input or direct cutting list generation. The cross-cut fence then automatically moves to the desired position.
The smaller C 50 under-table cross-cut saw offers a maximum cutting height of 100 mm and a cutting width of 300 mm. This cross-section range covers almost all dimensions of the incoming goods used for packaging. If larger cross-sections are to be cut, the C 700+ scores with a maximum cutting height of 175 mm and a maximum cutting width of 750 mm as standard.

The OptiCut S 50 series: The entry-level models among the optimising cross-cut saws for packer solutions
Die OptiCut S 50-Serie ist die ideale Lösung für Verpackerbetriebe mit einer Produktionsleistung von ca. 500 - 8.000 m³ Holzbedarf im Jahr. Besonders wegen einer vollwertigen Optimierung lassen sich die leistungsfähigen Kappanlagen der S 50-Serie ideal für Klein- und Kleinstaufträge einsetzen.
Zwar lässt sich die S 50-Serie nicht in dem Umfang ausstatten wie es bei der S 90-Serie der Fall ist, es besteht jedoch auch hier die Möglichkeit die Produktivität durch ausgeklügelte Mechanisierungslösungen im Ein- und Auslauf der Kappsäge zu steigern. Hierbei zählt zu den beliebtesten Modellen die S 50+ in der Konfiguration mit Querbeschickung im Einlauf und Querschub im Auslauf. Zur weiteren Produktivitätssteigerung lässt sich die S 50+ sogar mit einem Sortierband ausstatten.
Mit einer maximalen Schnitthöhe von 100 mm und einer Schnittbreite von 300 mm im Standard erlauben auch die Modelle der S 50+ problemlos einen paketweisen Zuschnitt.

The OptiCut S 90 series: The top models among the optimising cross-cut saws for demanding packaging solutions
With its comprehensive solutions, the OptiCut S 90 series is the most adaptable and powerful optimising cross-cut saw for the demanding crate and pallet manufacturer with a production output of approx. 3,000 - 35,000 m³ of wood per year. The solid construction of the saw body and the high-quality components alone contribute to a precise cross-cut with the highest added value. The individual adjustment of cutting ranges, feed speeds or mechanical equipment in the infeed and outfeed area of the saw can be designed to suit the model. Especially the models S 90 XL and S 90 Speed are predestined for pallet and box production.
In particular, the S 90 XL enjoys great popularity for package cutting due to its large cross-section area with a cutting height of 180 mm and a cutting width of 420 mm as standard. With subsequent sorting in the outfeed, the board packs can be separated directly according to their length or an order and stacked fully automatically with an automatic stacker or even a robot. To further increase productivity, a cross-feeder with buffer function in the infeed is often recommended.
If the performance requirements are higher, the additional upgrade to the S 90 Speed model with a pusher travel speed of up to 240 m/min is a sensible addition.
For crate manufacturers, we recommend the matching wFlex+ width cutting unit, which can be used, for example, to produce crate lids down to the last board.

OptiPal: Optimisation software for packagers
The OptiPal product generator is a recommendable addition especially for the profit-maximised packaging manufacturer. The software integrates a practical order management function for creating order lists.
The software offers the greatest added value through the integrated pre-optimisation. The programme calculates the optimal cutting patterns of several order lists to achieve the best possible cutting result. Pre-optimisation is also available as a stand-alone product.
To increase productivity, the software includes a practical width optimisation feature that enables the processing of falling widths, especially when producing closed side panels or lids.
